dB-Shield® Aware is a hearing protector for hospitals that attenuates impulse noise up to 35 dB

dB-Shield® Aware comes with a lanyard that minimizes the risk of dropping them in the operating room or during orthopedic surgery procedures. The noise filters allow the ear to equalize pressure, which means surgical staff can wear them comfortably throughout the day without discomfort.

The hearing protectors can be supplied with a noise filter that attenuates noise non-linearly, making them ideal for use in operating rooms. They attenuate high-frequency noise from medical equipment and instruments the most, while mid-frequency sounds, such as communication between surgical staff, are attenuated less.
